Established over 30 years ago, Artifex was born of an idea by its two founders, Nigel Bates and Ross Fenn. The objective was to open a store that only sold high quality original art and crafts. Following from the high demand in the local area for their jewellery the Artifex team decided to expand their jewellery line. Under the name Gemie we have be able to offer an even better service and even large selection of handmade professional jewellery to all our customers from across the world.
